What moms are saying…

“Heidi and I met one on one before my second baby girl was born. I was excited to breastfeed my second baby but definitely needed some refreshers, so was so thankful for this meeting beforehand! Heidi worked with me and my first daughter after birth, so I knew she was a person I could trust. A few days after my daughter was born I was really struggling to breastfeed her. It was always super painful and brought up a lot of anxiety before I would feed her. Heidi came over to my house (brought me ice cream too!!) and was able to tell that my daughters tongue was not in the right place, causing a bad latch. She worked with us for about an hour and by the end of it, I was pain free while feeding my daughter. She gave me lots of tips and tricks to help her latch! I've now been exclusively breastfeeding for 3 weeks and don't plan to slow down anytime soon.”

“As a first time mom, I didn't know much about breastfeeding, but I had heard that the first few days (and really the first few hours!) are a really important time to establish successful breast-feeding. For that reason, I chose to do the virtual one-on-one lactation session with Heidi before my baby was born to be as prepared as I could be, and I'm so glad I did!

While I received great help and support in the hospital, it was honestly more helpful to me to already have had ahead start on learning about a successful latch, breastfeeding positions, milk supply, etc. During our consultation, Heidi explained things in detail, answered all of my questions (I had so many!), and just took the time to support and encourage me as I prepared to become a new mom. It made all of the difference in helping me feel confident and prepared as I stepped into breastfeeding and motherhood as a whole. I've been exclusively breastfeeding for over two months since my baby girl was born in October and it’s truly been amazing! Thank you so much, Heidi!! <3”

I ABSOLUTELY loved having Heidi navigate breastfeeding with me. With our first I had no one and really struggled with it. I had such a hard time. I felt really alone. So with our second I was really nervous and anxious on how I was going to be able to do it. Heidi reached out and helped me so much. I remember when I texted her I was in labor she sent me multiple very long detailed texts on how to latch properly, do skin to skin, and made me feel right at ease. She was always available within minutes. She has so much knowledge. During my first month of breastfeeding I got mastitis and she immediately called me and even offered to come over and help me through it. She listed off tips and tricks and checked in throughout my recovery of it. She is kind, welcoming, supportive and truly someone you want to walk through the first year of motherhood with. She truly has a heart for it and it shows immensely.
