You booked a lactation visit but you’re not sure what comes next. Let’s chat!

Having someone in your home to evaluate breastfeeding can feel very vulnerable. Let me put your mind at ease by telling you exactly what to expect! I will arrive to your home on time. If I am running late, I’ll send you a text to let you know my ETA. Upon arrival, I will warmly greet you and anyone else in your home. I will wash my hands and ask you where you’d feel the most comfortable during the feeding. The goal is for me to see how you typically feed your baby. You do not need to do anything outside of your normal routine. If you have a creative way of positioning your baby — great! If you like to nurse in your bed — great! I want to support you in how you do things. No need to impress me.

I also want to remind you that I am here to see you. I don’t care how messy your house is. You just had a baby so please do not feel any stress to get your home prepped for our visit.

I will not rush you or your baby. Please ask any and all questions. I want you to be empowered and encouraged in your breastfeeding journey.
